The first wealth is health.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

He wasn’t exaggerating when he said that, our body carries us to our goals, and allows us to be creative and conjure up those wonderful ideas. Our bodies allows us to see the world and enjoy our love ones, so it’s in our best interest to treat it with the upmost respect and love. Which means creating healthy habits so our bodies can stay in optimal condition to function properly.

I’ll share some of my favorites healthy habits here and inspiration that keeps me focused on my why!

Need a morning wake up call?

Start your day with a ginger shot. The Ingredients are simple; juice a handful of ginger, a piece of turmeric, a piece of lemon and put a dash of black pepper on top, you should shoot about 2-3oz. Ginger is great for Reducing inflammation, easing muscle pain, prevents coughs, gas, gout, chronic bronchitis and is great for sore throats. Black pepper helps the body with absorption and turmeric is one of the most wonderful herbs but I’ll just name a few properties, its great for eyesight, aid’s digestion and improves appetite, and aids any illness regarding the throat, nasal passages, intestines, stomach and bladder.

I’m always looking for healthy ways to help my body fight off free radicals with natural antioxidants, one of my current favorites is black seed oil. Dating back 2000 years black seed oil has been on the shelves of many kings and queens as a go to oil for health and wellness. Black seed oil is native to southeast Asia and extracted from the seeds of the Nigella sativa, many cultures use it for a plethora of things, some being

  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Weight loss
  • Nasal congestion due to allergies
  • Headaches
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Immune system booster
  • Reducing inflammation
  • Fighting infections

Black seed oil is definitely one of the first things I reach for if I feel a tickle in my throat, or my body hurts from working out, it has so many benefits honestly it could be incorporated in my routine every other day; but I like to leave it as a gem I reach for when I feel an attack on my immune system or energy. I’ll leave the brand I use and the link to grab it below, so you have access as well, this can benefit the entire family, so make sure you learn more about this healthful oil.

This is same brand that I use but I usually get a smaller dropper bottle from my local health food store.
